Melanie Menge qualified as a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Germany in July 2011 (German Board Certificate). Until the end of 2015, she was initially a Specialist Registrar and finally a Consultant covering a wide range of general ENT surgery. Melanie was part of a facial plastic surgeon team and underwent special training for pinnaplasty and the treatment of skin lesions and facial trauma. She completed this training in May 2015 and gained the Subspecialty Certificate in Facial Plastic Surgery (German Board).

Before she relocated with her family to London in March 2017, she worked as an ENT specialist and Independent Consultant in a private ENT clinic in her home city Berlin, where she was responsible for the management of the non-surgical therapy of a wide spectrum of ENT diseases (year 2016-2017).

In order to gain more experience in the British medical system, she has been working in different NHS hospitals as a locum ENT doctor since July 2017 (Royal Free London Foundation NHS Trust & Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London). During her undergraduate training, she attended clinics in Australia, South Africa and Asia as a student and was involved in the medical training to get experiences in different health care systems.

Melanie enjoys travelling and likes to keep fit with yoga, pilates and hiking.

She is looking forward to getting introduced as an ENT specialist in private practice and is dedicated to establish a high quality ENT service step by step, providing treatments for a broad range of ear, nose and throat related disorders.

Please find out by the private clinic which ENT – related examinations and diagnostic procedures are currently available.
