With over twenty years of practice in clinics across Poland and the United Kingdom, she is internationally recognized as an authority in the field of lasers and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) in aesthetics.
Dr Atta-Motte holds a Bachelor’s (2002) and a Master’s degree in Public Health (2004) from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, a diploma from the European School of Cosmetology (2003), and a PhD specializing in medical lasers. Since 2006, she has worked with laser and IPL systems across a broad spectrum of dermatological indications, treating patients of diverse ethnic backgrounds and all skin types across the full Fitzpatrick scale.
Her scientific research — including peer-reviewed publications on the safety of diode laser hair removal in multiracial groups — has significantly contributed to the evidence base for safe and inclusive laser practice. She is a university lecturer, a frequent speaker at international conferences, and a dedicated mentor who trains laser specialists throughout Europe.
Dr Atta-Motte is the creator of the R20M method — an innovative approach to tattoo removal that combines multiple modalities to achieve faster and more effective pigment clearance compared to conventional methods. This technique has gained widespread acclaim among practitioners worldwide.
Beyond her clinical work, she serves as a Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) and a CQC compliance consultant. Dr Atta-Motte is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and a member of the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA) and the European Laser Association (ELA). She is one of the few specialists in the UK to bridge such deep clinical, academic, and regulatory expertise in aesthetic laser therapy.
